Zach serves as a wealth management advisor on the TFR team. He specializes in simplifying business, household and financial complexities for the firm and its clients.
In addition to his focus on liquid market investments, Zach has experience working with and conducting due diligence on hedge funds, private market investment groups, REITs, real estate developers and consultants. His dynamic background and financial acumen make him an invaluable part of the TFR team. Zach has been with TFR since 2011 and has served in key roles in TFR’s alternative investment division, portfolio management and client services group as well as our operations team.
Zach grew up in Plano, Texas and attended college at Texas Christian University. He earned a B.B.A. from the MJ. Neely School of Business, majoring in Finance and Entrepreneurial Management and minoring in Energy Technology and Economics. While at TCU Zach was selected as portfolio manager for the TCU Educational Investment Fund, a highly regarded student endowment fund. In addition, Zach was the recipient of the TCU Scholar award for outstanding academic performance and was named to the Dean’s list.
Prior to joining Texas Financial Resources, Zach worked as an analyst and trading assistant for Paradigm Capital Corporation. While at Paradigm he worked side by side with the fund’s managers to develop, market, launch and manage a sovereign debt opportunity fund.
During his free time Zach likes to read, write, go to the lake, watch/play sports, bike, run, and spend time with friends and family.
